Application process

SIGN is part of the Evidence Directorate of Healthcare Improvement Scotland. HIS: Evidence is an authority on the development of evidence-based advice, guidance and standards for NHS Scotland.

We welcome requests to provide evidence or analysis on issues facing the service. Any group or individual can propose a guideline topic and we can also assist with broad questions and problems, or provide specific analytical support.

To propose a topic please complete the the support request form. You can request our support using the online submission form or the word version of the form.
